The tower was created from glued laminated timber of red cedar, which symbolizes Hida's "wood culture." An upward spiral staircase using Fibonacci numbers has a special shape that incorporates the hope for growth and development in harmony with nature.
　At a height of 45 m, it can also be seen from a distance, and in this way also functions as a landmark.
